Philips has two career sites, a global one and one focused on North America. This allows Philips to provide more streamlined and personalized candidate experience based on the geography candidates want to explore. With one click of a button, the entire career site can be translated into French.
When you first visit the career site, you aren’t overwhelmed with fishing through information to find what’s relevant to you. Instead, you are asked to choose the type of career you are seeking based on where you are at in your individual path. The choices for candidates include professionals, executives or students and recent graduates. By creating these career categories, Philips is better equipped to streamline content and opportunities to each individual candidate.
With a Glassdoor integration, candidates have the ability to view what current and former employees have to say about the culture, leadership, and experience at Philips. The best part? Candidates aren’t led off of your career site, and have the ability to review this information while staying engaged without being lost.
Intuitive Search Functionality
Following best practices of Google search, candidates can type in just a few letters for their search query to receive suggested job opportunities and job categories to view. Without leaving the career site, candidates can view the job description, save the job to their job cart, share via social media, and easily apply to the position.
In order to provide a more personalized experience, candidates have the ability to log into their LinkedIn profile to see relevant job recommendations and other dynamic content.
