If you’re as passionate and enthusiastic about HR technology as we are here at Phenom People, you probably already know about the upcoming HR Technology Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas at the Venetian on October 10th through the 13th. We will be there with bells and whistles on hanging out at Booth #3245, and we hope to see you.

With such a robust agenda and lineup of amazing speakers, it’s hard to decide which sessions to attend. As a result, we’ve compiled some of the must-see speakers and sessions that we’re looking forward to the most.

Laszlo Bock talks about innovation and creativity

If you haven’t heard of Laszlo Bock, he’s the former SVP of People Operations for Google, and an amazing speaker. In his session, he will talk more about the critical role HR and HR IT leaders play in building innovative organizations.

The best part? You’ll walk away with the specific skills and tools leaders need to get everyone on-board with this new innovative mindset, turning it into a reality within your organization.

Trish McFarlane shows how to maximize on your data

Data, data, and more data. It’s all important, and can provide valuable insights. However, if you don’t know how to analyze it, use it, and maximize it, you won’t get much of a return. In this session, Trish McFarlane, VP of Global HCM Strategy and Product Management at Infor, shows how HR professionals can make optimal use of data to drive optimal business results.

In addition, HR leaders can utilize data to help solve workforce challenges, and find new ways to embrace more of a data mindset in the future.

No HR Tech conference would be complete without artificial intelligence

Holger Mueller, Analyst at Constellation Research, will hold a session about one of the hottest topics in HR right now: artificial intelligence and machine learning. Don’t worry. Robots won’t be taking HR jobs away, but it’s important to stay informed on the future impact that AI and ML will have on HR and the business as a whole.

During this session, you’ll increase your understanding of future HR best practices as they are impacted by technology as well as ideas for developing your HR tech investment strategy.

These are just some of the speakers and sessions we are excited about seeing. There’s something for everyone, and no shortage of additional opportunities to learn more about the world of HR technology.
