HR Trailblazers from Kuehne+Nagel, Life Time, Radian and More to Speak at Phenom’s IAMHR Event

Phenom's free virtual event, IAMHR, will take place Dec. 8-10

Phenom, the global leader in Talent Experience Management (TXM), has announced the full lineup of sessions and speakers for its free, virtual three-day event, IAMHR, to take place Dec. 8-10. Over 55 hours of sessions and bonus content will be available on-demand to registered attendees.

The last major HR event of the year, IAMHR will explore new territory in the realm of talent acquisition and management. Every HR leader who will share their story exclusively at the HRCI- and SHRM-accredited event has helped shape several of their companies’ most innovative accomplishments.

The three-day lineup will feature the HR industry’s biggest names, like:

  • Lothar Harings, CHRO, Kuehne+Nagel
“CHRO Talks: Leading HR Through a Pandemic & Beyond”

The COVID-19 pandemic — and its disruption to the workplace — has signified HR’s role in refining the employee experience. During this session, Harings will discuss how his company is fostering balance and belonging, customer excellence and the leadership necessary to build a thriving culture amid uncertainty.

  • Jess Elmquist, CLO and EVP of human resources, Life Time
“Change Your Mind, Change Your Life”

Mental health has become a top priority in 2020. As employees deal with new challenges and burdens in response to widespread life changes, leaders face a renewed responsibility to address mental wellbeing in the workplace. During this session, Elmquist will present key strategies to become “a culture of care” that puts teams’ mental fitness first.

  • Jennifer Bombardier, VP, talent acquisition, Radian Group Inc.
“Ahead of the Curve: Investing in the Future of Talent Experience”

Without the right HR technology, acquiring and managing the right talent is a daunting task. During this session, Bombardier will explain why her company adopted an AI-driven strategy to enhance its talent experience, as well as best practices — and what to avoid — for other progressive companies considering tech in their approach to talent management.

  • Randy Goldberg, VP, talent acquisition strategy, MGM Resorts International
“MGM's Ace in the Hole for Bringing Former Employees Back to Work”

The pandemic has created a large — and often untapped — talent pool for many organizations: former and furloughed employees. During this session, Goldberg will share best practices on how talent management teams can serve, grow, and recover this network of potential for when they’re ready to rehire.

  • Susan Senn, enterprise talent engagement manager, Guidewell
“Power Up Your Virtual Recruiting Event for Optimal ROI”

During this session, Senn will explore the essential role of virtual career events in attracting and hiring candidates, measuring ROI, and maximizing talent relationships through employer branding. She will answer how companies can make remote events and video interviews effective enough to acquire the highest-performing job seekers — now and for the foreseeable future.

  • Kayla Drady, director, talent acquisition strategy and operations, Mercy
“Top Hacks for Effective Virtual University Recruiting when It Matters Most”

The need for frontline workers, especially in the healthcare industry, has never been more pressing. For the most part, recruiters have only been able to access universities — a critical pipeline for new nursing talent — via virtual events. During this session, Drady will reveal how to operate within pandemic-caused recruitment parameters to drive higher interest and faster applications.

  • Sarah Steinmann and Shannon O'Bryant, talent acquisition specialists, Southwest Airlines
“The Value of 1 Million Chatbot Interactions: Southwest Airlines Talks Conversational Recruiting”

Chatbots are one of the most visible applications of AI, transforming the HR industry. Since implementing a chatbot to enhance their candidate experience, Southwest Airlines reports over a million interactions with it — a number that captures how indispensable this tool has become to its talent acquisition team. During this session, Steinmann and O’Bryant will share more about how they configured the chatbot to advance Southwest’s long-term goals.

“Every session, keynote and presentation will walk through cutting-edge strategies that redefine the HR status quo,” said Tom Tate, director of product marketing at Phenom. “Attendees will learn methods for reskilling and mobilizing employees, embracing virtual work on an unparalleled scale, and using AI to discover and retain the most impactful talent.”
