Save the Date: Top 7 HR & TA Conferences in 2018

Attending HR conferences is one of the best ways to learn new skills, see the latest innovations in technology, and network with other HR professionals from around the world.

We’ve compiled a list of some of the upcoming top HR conferences you must check out for 2018.

1. UNLEASH London
March 20-21 in London

Formerly known as HR Tech World, UNLEASH is about more than technology. It’s about “unleashing the power and potential of people”.

In the past, this conference has brought out some of the best in the business to speak and share their knowledge with attendees; Josh Bersin, Sir Richard Branson, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Arianna Huffington. For 2018, it’s still unknown who will divulge their wisdom but anyone interested in speaking, can do so by submitting a speaker proposal.

2. ERE Recruiting Conference
April 2-4 in San Diego, CA

During this three-day conference, attendees will have networking opportunities galore. Between breakfast, lunch, happy hours, roundtable discussions, and workshops, ERE hosts a hands-on convention. Not to mention, morning yoga will begin each day at 6:30 AM.

3. UNLEASH America

4. EBrandCon
May 22-24 in San Diego, CA

Having difficulty around employer branding messaging or recruiting efforts for the right talent? Maybe you’re an employer branding master? Either way, Employer Branding Strategies Conference (EBrandCon) is the place you need to be.

EBrandCon is currently “recruiting” its speaker panel but for the moment, their website shows a few of the topics they’ll be covering including the most recent advances in technology, candidate and manager experience, utilizing recruitment marketing, building creative campaigns, and analyzing employer brand case studies.

5. HCI’s Strategic Talent Acquisition Conference
June 5-7 in Miami, FL

This conference is jam-packed with workshops, keynote speakers, and sessions all about how to create a top-notch talent acquisition strategy.

6. HR Tech Conference

HR Tech has speakers but their main focus is on the sessions, consultants, and vendors, so those who attend can be more in tune with what the world of HR technology has in store.

7. UNLEASH Amsterdam
October 23-24 in Amsterdam

UNLEASH Amsterdam is another must-attend conference for 2018. The city is a beautifully historic spot rich in cultural diversity. If you haven’t been to Amsterdam, this conference is one to add to your list.

Last year, they had Arianna Huffington take stage as the keynote speaker, where she spoke about the importance of helping businesses flourish. At the core is the people who fuel your company and take care of themselves first. Founder of The Huffington Post, CEO of Thrive Global, and author of fifteen books, she sets the bar for who will take the stage this year.

A few honorable mentions for conferences whose speaker line-ups and dates are yet to be announced are LinkedIn’s Talent Connect and Workday Rising. With names like LinkedIn and Workday, keep an eye out for when they publicize their events!
