Introducing HelpOneBillion: Connecting People to the Job They Need Now
As our global community continues to transform, Phenom has never felt more committed to helping people find jobs than we do today. Jobs, after all, are our business. And there has never been a greater need to quickly connect people who are looking for work with companies that are looking to hire.
Over 26 million Americans have already filed for unemployment in response to the global pandemic—with another 2.7 billion workers affected by shelter-in-place measures worldwide. At the same time, employers across select industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, and food industries need to ramp up hiring to fill critical positions.
Over the past weeks, we have seen families, friends, businesses, and employees come together to make a difference in whatever way they can. At Phenom, we want to do our part by doing what we do best. Our purpose has always been to help people find the right job—now we want to help people find the essential job they need now.
We’re proud to announce the launch of HelpOneBillion, an initiative uniting individuals experiencing job loss with determined companies that are hiring for essential roles.
What is HelpOneBillion?
HelpOneBillion is a curated, growing network of 500,000 verified jobs from over 800 companies hiring now. It was designed to simplify the job search process and quickly connect people to potential opportunities.
We want to thank all of the companies who are participating in this initiative, including General Motors, and Land O'Lakes. With their support, we are able to take one step closer towards overcoming difficulty and helping people find the job they need now.
Here’s how it works: A job seeker who visits the HelpOneBillion website can search for a job in a few ways:
- Search by position, location, industry and/or company name
- Upload a resume
- Answer a few questions about their experience and interests
- Connect a social profile
- Engage with a chatbot
After uploading their information, a list of tailored job recommendations are then delivered based on the details provided. That’s the beauty of leveraging Phenom’s AI—it works behind the scenes to deliver incredible, personalized experiences to users on HelpOneBillion.com.
Instead of forcing candidates to sort through outdated job listings across different company career sites to see available positions, HelpOneBillion speeds up the traditional job hunt. By delivering relevant opportunities in seconds, job seekers can save themselves time and unnecessary stress.
If they’re not ready to apply, candidates can save their results by creating a profile. They also have the opportunity to sign up for email alerts when new jobs are added to HelpOneBillion, to stay up-to-date on the latest openings.
