Phenom People announces iCIMS partnership to improve candidate experience

At Phenom People, our mission is to improve the candidate experience - not only for job seekers, but for the recruiters and talent acquisition team members charged with attracting and engaging top talent. Our new iCIMS partnership allows us to do both.

On the whole, the state of the candidate experience sucks. It's a major issue for many companies and attempts to fix/improve it are costing them lots of time and money, with little to show for it.

A major pain point is the career-site-to-ATS transition. Application drop-off is a significant issue for many companies. Candidates move smoothly through their career site, consuming content, searching for open positions and reading job descriptions, intending to apply. Then they reach the application process, and their frustration leads a large portion to give up and abandon the apply process.

To help companies increase their application conversions and reduce the number of incomplete applications, the Phenom People and iCIMS partnership offers a seamless transfer of application data from the Phenom People platform to the iCIMS Talent Platform. Companies can create a more user-friendly application process while still receiving all of the benefits of the iCIMS Talent Platform.

For companies using iCIMS Recruit as their ATS and seeking to enhance their candidate experience, the Phenom People platform redesigns the application process to make it more user-friendly for candidates. It also introduces multi-device functionality and new apply options, such as applying with a LinkedIn profile and uploading a resume from cloud storage services like Dropbox. All applicant data is properly transferred into iCIMS regardless of the apply source.

The screenshot below shows an example of the Phenom People and iCIMS integration. How it works is the Phenom People platform is laid over the iCIMS application. Once a candidate submits their application using one of the available options - apply with their LinkedIn profile or upload a resume from one of Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and (old-school) from their computer - the information is parsed and moved into the iCIMS applicant tracking system.

The Phenom People and iCIMS partnership is another sign that companies and talent acquisition solutions providers alike are taking a serious look at how they can improve the candidate experience and create a better system for attracting, engaging, nurturing and converting their targeted talent.
